General quesitons

  1. I have an older edition of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary. Can I use myCOBUILD.com for free?

    If you have an older edition of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary, please email support@collinsdictionaries.com with the ISBN of your dictionary. The ISBN appears on the back cover of your dictionary.

  2. I bought a copy of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary last year. Do I really have to buy a new dictionary to use myCOBUILD.com?

    If you have a copy of the 5th edition of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary, please email support@collinsdictionaries.com.

  3. I do not have a copy of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary. Can I use myCOBUILD.com?

    You can use the online free trial by clicking here. You can also buy a copy of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary that will allow use to use myCOBUILD.com for free by clicking here.

  4. I have a copy of the 6th edition of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary, but I can't find the access code. Where is it?

    The access code is the number that is printed on the sticker on the inside cover of your dictionary. Please email support@collinsdictionaries.com if your code is missing from the dictionary.

  5. I have registered with the site, but I have not received an e-mail with my username and password.

    Please check your junk mail folder. If the e-mail is not there, please make sure that your e-mail spam settings will allow e-mails from support@collinsdictionaries.com. If you still have difficulty, please contact support@collinsdictionaries.com

  6. I have bought a copy of the 6th edition of the COBUILD Advanced Dictionary and tried to register, but the site says I have an invalid code.

  7. I can't log in. When I try, the site says that my username or password is invalid.

  8. Can I change my password to something that is easier to remember?

    Yes. Please click on Your settings to change your password. You must be logged into your account to access Your Settings.

  9. Can I change my username?

    No. Your username is your email address and you cannot change it.
